Re: Frost Farms Projects and Achievements
Frost Farms has hit year 3000.
I wanted to take this time to give a little update on achievements and project since it’s been some time.
Currently I’ve bred Record Holders in:
Barrel Racing
Cross Country
Cutting
Endurance
Pole Bending
Racing
Reining
Sprint Racing
Steeplechase
My current competition projects are:
Harness Racing
Saddleseat
In Hand Jumping
Frost Farms is still home to the only
Green Strength and Green Speed horses in the game.
With some other non-competitive achievements being
A lovely line of Racecar Speed Comments
Badger Face Marking Thoroughbreds
First 69 Stamina

Frost Farms First Saddleseat Record Breaker
FF Ancient Rome

I’d like to say a few things about this specific endeavor. If anyone is considering breeding for and or competing in Saddleseat this has been by far the most challenging discipline. I’ve been struggling with this one for awhile and have felt pretty intense frustration that has led to multiple trial and errors to reach success. If you’re looking for a challenge I fully recommend breeding for Saddleseat. If you’re looking for a intense challenge I also suggest trying to make those horses pure 100%/not grade/not mixed. If you already breed/compete in Saddleseat you have my full admiration, your patience far exceeds mine.

Re: Frost Farms Projects and Achievements
FF Halloween Town

Best scoring In Hand so far if this stallion continues to score like he has he could beat every existing In Hand Jumping Record.
I’m really proud of how quickly this project progressed and it wasn’t nearly as complicated or time consuming as others.
I was really hoping to have them to 100% Thoroughbreds by now. Unfortunately I struggled with height and also with bulk, In Hands ideally need to be medium but I ultimately have been stuck about 8-10% to high. I also struggled to keep my line under 9.1h however I am working with a larger breed which made small original stock hard to come by.
If anyone looking for project recommendations I vote In Hand Jumping a 8/10 for ease and beginner friendliness.

This is quite impressive! I took a crack at breaking those records for several months and never made itFrost wrote:FF Halloween Town

I will continue to breed this line until I have 100%
Thoroughbreds preferably of medium build and then players can expect to see these lines go up for stud as well.

Re: Frost Farms Projects and Achievements
A little Frost Farms Accomplishments update
4 New Record Holders
2 In Western Trail
FF Obliterated Obedience

FF Obviously Obstinate

2 In Working Ranch
FF Obnoxious Obstacle

FF You’re Obligated To Love Me

For anyone looking to breed/comp working ranch I highly recommend. These horses came from AC stock and were bred to this level. This was a very fun project that was not absurdly difficult and I think these two comps are very beginner friendly.
