spots on face

I read somewhere that these spots on the face mean something but for the life of me i cant find it again. I have also seen the spots on different parts of the body. Could someone please tell me what they represent?

These are snowflakes and are caused by the Lp gene. The Lp gene also causes varnish, leopard patterns and bronzing.
You have a snowflake bay dun tarpan. :)
