Breeding age question

Hi,

I am kind of new to the game. I have a foal (Barbra, if you need to look), and she is like just over a year. I cannot yet breed her, and I think it's because she's too young. Does anyone happen to know how old your horses need to be to breed, or if there's some other reason that she's unable to breed?

Fillys, like Barbra, must be 3-5 years old before they can breed. Barbra is too young to foal at just 1 year. Currently, there is no in-game reason, besides age, that a mare could not breed.

Hello Purcy,

Fillys, like Barbra, must be 3-5 years old before they can breed. Barbra is too young to foal at just 1 year. Currently, there is no in-game reason, besides age, that a mare could not breed.

In the game a filly must be 4 years old in order to breed. Colts on the other hand only have to be 3 years old to breed in HWO.

I know that in real life the ages they breed horses is a little different.
