I would be very grateful if you did not rehome horses that you buy from me but, surely, I can't tell you what to do.

About Melanta's Stables: In breeding, my first priority is competitive talent. Over a few years,
I've been refining my stock so that each horse has some competitive value – either as an athlete or as a parent capable to give competitive offspring.

As is known, winning shows on HWO is not only about gold stats or nice-looking conformation numbers. So, I've been trying to target exactly that - the elusive competitive trait.

For some time, my main priorities were Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, and now - crossbreeds between the two. But now, as I'm expanding my sphere of interest, other breeds may get involved and end up for sale. I have a big project in my head involving a breed that is rare on HWO but has a special place in my heart - no spoilers though!

Sold Horses
Breed: Mixed Gypsy Vanner [35%]
Gender: Mare
Age (at the time of posting): 13 years, 1.6 months
Height: 16.1 hh

HGP: 54,570
GREEN Tempo
GOLD Intelligence
This mare is a part of my Przewalski Horse project, now abandoned. I crossed Przewalski Horses with horses of other breeds with mohawks and competitive talents in an attempt to make bigger, athletic Przewalski Horses while relatively preserving their unique appearance.

If crossed with a mohawk stallion, this mare should almost 100% pop mohawk foals.

Showed promise in Show Jumping, Hunter, and Obstacle Driving. Overall nicely built – I think she can be successfully crossed with stocky-type stallions that compete in English disciplines.
Sire - Northern Gold: out of my stock, cute mohawk and athletic build, had some talent for Show Jumping, Cross Country, and Hunter
Dam - What's Up: also out of my stock, Champion in Hunter. Had some talent to Obstacle Driving which I didn't develop in her, unfortunately

Pedigree highlights: Nordic (GCh. in Hunter, one of the first horses in this project that had athletic potential), Prince Defield (gorgeous Gypsy Vanner stallion and a popular stud), Baiati (by Uralym, successful in western disciplines), SL* Blitz (Gypsy Vanner stallion with talent for dressage and an excellent breeder's report)
Breed: Part Thoroughbred x Arabian [80%]
Gender: Stallion
Age (at the time of posting): 6 years, 5.6 months
Height: 21.0 hh

HGP: 62,746
GREEN Stamina, Balance, Agility
GOLD Intelligence
Selling cheap because he is not trained, and I also don't need this particular cross (tried to get an Anglo-Arabian).

Because of his pedigree, he must show some ability towards English disciplines (Show Jumping, XC) as well as racing competitions (with lower probability). The pedigree highlights section below provides only some names though, his family tree is really full of proven athletes, especially on the TB side.

Will pass strong flaxen gene.
Sire - USH Orthodox: beautiful stallion with 66k HGP
Dam - RL Toxic Red Spice: TB mare with 97.1% WPS in Sprint Racing so far

Pedigree highlights: Copper Ore (Arabian grandsire with 67k HGP, wins in Barrel Racing and Endurance), RL River's Red Spice (MGCh. in Show Jumping, out of my jumping TB line), RL Pepper Poison (my SMGCh. in Show Jumping with 81.8% WPS out of 484 entries, great breeder's report), RL Spice (also my TB line, SGCh. in Cross Country with 91.3% WPS)
Regina - 10,000$

Breed: Thoroughbred x Quarter Horse [50%]
Gender: Mare
Age (at the time of posting): 9 years, 6.1 months
Height: 15.2 hh

HGP: 59,137
GREEN Balance
GOLD Agility, Intelligence

5* for TB evaluation. Strong champagne gene - will make the offspring look a lil' bit fancier.
Mostly trained. Has some potential for Show Jumping, I've only started competing her.
IMO, breeding is the best application, might pass some strong genes.

Sire - SL Relic: successful in western and driving disciplines, #3 QH on HWO in Cutting and Reining, solid gold stats. Fancy-looking, round and proportionate
Dam - Empress Of The Shadows: I bought this mare from a sound TB bloodline. 62 gold speed. Another colt from this mare (Regina's half-brother) had 4 gold stats and good results in Harness and Sprint Racing as well as Show Jumping

Pedigree highlights: SL Samson (my absolute champion in Obstacle Driving and Western Trail), SL Sunproud (Western Trail), MSF An Awesome Theory (Racing, excellent sire with HGP 65k)
Breed: Thoroughbred x Quarter Horse [50%]
Gender: Mare
Age (at the time of posting): 8 years, 1.1 months
Height: 17.2 hh

HGP: 59,263
GREEN Tempo, Balance, Intelligence
GOLD Agility
Strong champagne gene, pretty sun-kissed gold color, nice proportions on the TB side.
Did not show much promise in chosen disciplines but you might try the ones requiring calm temperament, especially western. Her temperament is mobile, currently Calm.

Sire - WHRTB Nightmare: out of Peaceful Oreo's bloodlines, gold speed comment. Typical fancy TB conformation
Dam - SL Holly: competitive in Obstacle Driving (and passes talent to driving disciplines). Pretty coloring with unique patterns

Pedigree highlights: SL Samson (my absolute champion in Obstacle Driving and Western Trail), SL Sunproud (Western Trail), WHRTB Flametail (RH in Steeplechasing, dominated the racing arena at the time), Seabiscuit (RH in 3 racing disciplines, also dominated the racing arena)
Breed: Thoroughbred
Gender: Stallion
Age (at the time of posting): 14 years, 7.6 months
Height: 20.0 hh

HGP: 64,706
GREEN Balance
GOLD Speed, Tempo, Agility, Intelligence
From a stud that sired 68 horses, many of which hold impressive titles and even are record breakers. Does well in racing-type competitions, both english and western. Grand Champion in Racing.

This stallion is the result of crossbreeding my jumping TBs with an external racing bloodline, so the goal was to combine show jumping talent and speed. Gives big, nicely shaped foals with pretty flaxen manes and tails.
Sire - JWs Unique Equine Intention: a silver dapple TB stud with sound conformation, 65 speed, and an impressive number of progeny
Dam - RL Toxic: a TB mare from my bloodlines with the Master Grand Champion title in Show Jumping and 83.2% WPS. Gave me excellent foals that proved to be great athletes

Pedigree highlights: RL Pepper Poison (my SMGCh. in Show Jumping with 81.8% WPS out of 484 entries, great breeder's report), Dazzled Rose (GCh. in Harness Racing with 97.6% WPS)
Breed: Mixed Gypsy Vanner [35%]
Gender: Stallion
Age (at the time of posting): 13 years, 9.1 months
Height: 15.1 hh

HGP: 59,120
GOLD Stamina, Tempo, Balance, Intelligence
This stallion is a part of my Przewalski Horse project, now abandoned. I crossed Przewalski Horses with horses of other breeds with mohawks and competitive talents in an attempt to make bigger, athletic Przewalski Horses while relatively preserving their unique appearance.

His pedigree involves such breeds as Gypsy Vanner, Bashkir, Mongolian, Norwegian Fjord, NAB, and obviously Przewalski Horse, many of which were talented competitors or popular studs.

If crossed with a mohawk mare, this stallion should 100% pop mohawk foals.

Champion in Show Jumping.

Hello! Just wanted to drop a note here to say that I'm snapping up some of your awesome rare breed horses. I'm also aiming for a rare breed that is far up the breed "ladder," and though I'm trying to achieve most of those "rungs" on my own, I just can't pass these guys up. So, they'll probably be stashed on my other account for a while, but will become part of my own big breeding project in time. ♥

Hi, thanks for buying! Yep, I scratched the project that these horses were a part of. Kinda got stuck and stopped enjoying it. But I'm happy to hear these guys can help other players, good luck with your project!
