What skill level do I need to breed my mare?

Horse Ownership courses are used to increase:
Broodmare count
Public Stud count
Overall Horse count

You'll need to train in the first couple skills to open up additional options. So if there's only one skill option to train under Horse Ownership, then train in that fully. More will come.

When Horse Ownership skills are all complete, you will have a maximum capacity of:
36 Broodmares
16 Public Studs (this isn't the count of how many stallions you can own, this is only the count of how many you can have up for stud at any one time)
211 Overall

Your mare needs to be 4 years before being able to breed. Stallions need to be 3 years.
