For all those wondering Wadi 'Ajiwani means Lilac Valley in Arabic (which I don't speak sadly). W'A is the brand I use for my horses .

I am Dreamer98 and I breed Connemara ponies. They are a large pony breed which originated in Ireland and were used as family horses for both farm work and leisure activities. They caught my attention a long time ago because they are such intelligent and hardy animals. When I first set out to breed them I had no idea what I was doing and stumbled along for a while trying (and failing) to make Connemaras. Eventually I came across three stallions bred by Nitroworgen (to whom I am very grateful for the hard work they put in). Using those stallions I was able to breed my first Connemara, and though I have bred Connemaras using the breed wiki since then all my Connemaras are in some way related to those three stallions.

My main focus for my Connemaras thus far has been on genetic potential but I have recently introduced black into my herd and hope to start focusing more on their looks in addition to their stats. Their color has been a challenge for me firstly because Connemaras do not carry the dun gene, but instead carry cream. This is confusing because buckskins are commonly referred to as dun when colors are listed. Recently I realized this and had to sell or rehome 90% of my herd. Another challenge is that 70% of Connemaras should carry the grey gene which covers their colors and makes identification difficult.

My herd is now dun free and starting to pick up again. My best stallion so far has achieved 53,000 GP 2 golds and 1 green.
