Silver Smoky Cream or Silver Brown Cream?
Z Casanova

His sire was a silver dapple who could have been carrying cream from his dam, a silver buckskin, while his dam was a sooty palomino and thus having a cream gene. Based on this it seems Casanova could have acquired the dominant black gene and silver gene from his sire, and a cream from both. I have never seen silver on a double dilution horse, so I thought I would see what you guys think
The light mane and tail are throwing me off.

Re: Silver Smoky Cream or Silver Brown Cream?
I'd say(based on my experience) a silver brown cream.

Re: Silver Smoky Cream or Silver Brown Cream?
Yes its silver brown cream, the mouth and belly are lighter for a brown cream than a black (smoky) cream - that's one sign. The other is, silver on black base makes quite specific coats, often dapples and generally even lighter. The sire seems indeed be carrying one cream.
