Genetic potential
I noticed that all my horses have that number on the bottom right of their breeder's report. What is it? And what is it for?

Re: Genetic potential
That is the horses genetic potential or HGP. The higher numbers are better. I have seen a highest of 74k HGP and the lowest of 4khgp wich is rare. You need to breed Godd HGP horses together to get better HGP horses.Skylar Dale wrote:I noticed that all my horses have that number on the bottom right of their breeder's report. What is it? FantasyRanch2, you've seen a 4000 HGP horse? Can you find it and share the link?FantasyRanch2 wrote:That is the horses genetic potential or HGP. The higher numbers are better. Skylar Dale, to give you some additional insight.
It's the hard number of the value given to each stat the horse has (speed, stamina, strength, etc) in both the genes they carry and also the conformation of their body all added together. AC horses will come with an HGP of usually anywhere from 25k to 37k... you can find AC (Adoption Centre) horses outside of that range, but it's a bit rarer. Many of our top competition horses are in the 55k to 65k range.
This number will move up and down as we breed for the foals (each horse is born with the number they'll carry throughout their life). By watching the Breeder's Report and if upgraded, the conformation scores, you can create a horse that fits your needs, either in breeding or in the competition arena. However, you don't need to be upgraded to succeed in this game. It just makes the trek easier.

Just checking, because such a horse would be the first (and fulfill the Crappy Horse Quest). I've produced 10k horses, but haven't yet been able to break into the 9k line. I've had no word that anybody has been able to yet.

You made me:
