Also, I have a newborn foal (I know foal coats are hard to tell) and I am expecting another soon. Here is the foal: https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2996783 She looks sort of like a sooty palomino.prplebird20 wrote:Thank you!Silverine wrote:

A few turns later: And the other foal is here! Probably has the graying gene, he was born with a adult coat. I don't know where the gene came from though. https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2998294

The first is Silver Smoky Brown Dun. (Brown + dun + silver + 1x cream.)prplebird20 wrote:

The second is Classic Champagne. (Black + champagne.) He does in fact have a foal coat, not an adult coat. In order for a horse to show gray at least one parent has to be gray and neither of his parents is. His father is lightening with age due to the champagne gene. The foal also has at least one copy of tiger eye, but it is difficult to tell how many copies before six months of age.

Yeah, I checked my other classic champagne, and she was born like that too. Thanks!Silverine wrote:The first is Silver Smoky Brown Dun. (Brown + dun + silver + 1x cream.)prplebird20 wrote:
