Can't get temperament to go up.

Can't get temperament to go up.

I can easily get a horses temperament to go down, but never up. I've put several bombproof horses in a barn before and fed them on nothing but yellow corn for years, but their temperament never changes.

Edit: I've tried with sweet feed and oats, so far, that has not worked either.

EDIT: Sweet feed works.
