How do I earn Pony Tokens for free?

You can earn Pony Tokens (PT) grinding fully trained horses.You can do that by going to a fully trained horse scrolling down and clicking on the tab "Local Shows" and going down to levels go on to level 10 show,and click on a discipline of your choice that your horse would be good at.But you don't get PT everytime.
