Another Idea: HWO Bank

Post by Ritazuki »

I've been having quite a lot of ideas xD
So, this one is more related to money. There could be a "bank" page, where we could see how much money we spent on the last 7 days (or the last in game year) with each category such as stud fees, feeding, buying horses, competition entries, buying items, farm building, etc, and how much we earned with each category too, such as competition prizes, selling horses, stud fees, achievments, etc, and our final balance. That would make a lot easier to see where you need to spend more or less, if you need to charge more for your foals or studding, for example. Also, on the bank, maybe we could also have features such as transferring money to other players, converting PT to money (and maybe money to PT?), maybe transferring PT to others too, etc. This suggestion is simpler than my last ones, but I think it would be quite useful too.

I support most of this, Ritazuki.

I would like to see this in the game one day, I think it would be very useful. I don't really spend my money much, but when I do it is generally on expensive studs, so I think that being able to see how much you spend could help you see if you need to stop spending so much in-game money on in-game things. Or also to see how little you spend, which is something I'd personally like to see for my account. Haha.
On the other hand, I would love to see how much I earn. That prospect of the bank really appeals to me... it would help, I feel, with large selling businesses, and you could even go as far as calculating what you earn and how you'd like to spend it. Lot's of room for ideas there. The tables you had in mind are good, but I also think that if they just add an "overall earned" and "overall spent" it would be easy to look around like that. But I like to go in-depth on each subject, so I'd also like to see the different tables, like you had suggested.

However, I do not agree with the transferring of money and Pony Tokens. You can transfer money using private sales, and Pony Tokens were never a currency for transferring. I think that there is too much room for scamming in that area, as well. You can read more discussions on this topic in other places.

My idea for this bank, is that there is also an actual bank. Yes, in this suggested one you can see what you've spent and earned, but I think that you should be able to hold money. Not Pony Tokens, just money. You can save money in your bank (maybe earn interest each week or month?) there. It could help big spenders not spend quite as much, or savers save more. Or perhaps those saving their money for useful things, or even players that are slowly earning enough money to afford something they want. But... I think that this is a very diamond option (per se), so I think that it should ONLY be for Premium players. And if your Premium runs out when you still have money in your bank, then it is all returned to you.

This reply was a little rushed, my apologies.

I like having a transcript of incoming and outgoing. And having the option to send money out would be a good addition.

Conversion of PT to money or vice versa is one part I don't agree with. I won't go into it, but it has been discussed before and I still oppose it. :)

But the transcript would be a great addition!
