Looking for Vanner Filly/Mare UPDATE

Post by Kiranell »

Hi Folks,

I'm looking to purchase a Vanner mare or filly. I'm still a new player and low on money (still working on my player training skills - boy do you blow through money doing that!), so the prices for vanners on the market are a bit rich for my blood.

I don't care about color or markings (yet ;) ). I am looking for a mare with maybe a few greens and no reds.

I am willing to trade a horse I have, or a horse plus some extra money. I have some trained, partially trained, or untrained arabians that are decent stock.

Ping me if you're interested in working something out!

UPDATE:

Thanks to the lovely folks below who helped me gather some much-needed cash. I now have enough money to make reasonable offers for a gypsy vanner mare/filly.

If you have a gypsy vanner mare/filly that you are willing to sell for between 20k and 100k (depending on HGP, coloring, age, training, etc.) please ping me!

Welcome to the game! I'd be happy to help out.

If you can find a Gypsy Vanner mare/filly for sale that you like, I can buy it for you. Price isn't an issue. In return I'm okay with 10% of the horse's price, or I'm looking for a non-champagne colored horse of any breed with decent stats. Champagne is the coloration that causes freckles on horses with pink noses.

Hi Ecliptic! Thanks for the welcome and the offer!

It currently looks like all the mares on the market are only up for offers (there were a few up an hour or two ago for sale but it looks like they've been grabbed). I don't want you to get stuck making offers and having to wait, or accidentally have two offers accepted in quick succession, or other confusion.

However, if you'd be willing to buy a horse off me, that would give me the money to make a decent offer that's more likely to be accepted than what I can offer now. Going rate for vanners for outright purchasing seems to be about 15,000-25,000, based on what I saw for the mares a few hours ago and what stallions are going for now.

I can offer Arabians with HGPs ranging from about 60-70k, with multiple golds and greens from these two pastures:

https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/158920
Each horse is marked in its notes whether I am willing to sell or trade it. I have a variety of colors. Please let me know if one of the horses in there meets your standards. :)

Are you particularly fond of either Methane Lake or Earendil? I'd be more than happy with either of them.

Hi Ecliptic,

I'm fine with you taking either one. Let me know which one you want and how much you're good with and I'll put him up for you!

Thanks again!

Hi Star Meadows!

I would love a vanner if you're willing! I am hoping for a filly so I can start breeding my own stock, but I won't say no to a colt if that's what you've got on hand/if that's what pops.

I don't want to take advantage of your generosity, so while I appreciate the offer of some starter money, I'm hoping that my deal with EclipticEnd and selling a few more of my Arabians when I'm done training them will get me set up the rest of the way. That being said, if there's an Arabian in one of those two pastures that looks good to you, I'd be happy to sell it to you. If you like one of the ones in the "training" pasture, I can finish training it before selling it to you, if you want. The two pastures are:

https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/158920

Ecliptic End currently has dibs on Methane Lake or Earendil, their choice, and the rest of the horses are marked "trade/sell" or "keep."

Methane Lake, then. You can set a price on him for however much you'd like.

I can put Earthly Aura up after she pops. She's fully trained, so I figured I could probably get about 20k for her.

Sea Strand I would like to breed a few times to some of my mares and then sell. I could put your name on him and sell him to you once I've bred him, but it'll likely be a week or so and maybe 5 years on him once I've been able to breed him to all the mares I want so let me know if that's still good for you. His sire was a good stud so I want those genes! He's fully trained, will likely comp well, and should get decent stud fees, so I was hoping for 40kish when I put him up.

Let me know if this is alright with you, and I can ping you when each of them is ready for you! Thanks!
