Introduction
Hello everyone who is here to check out this log, I am Fuss/Key, my goal in HWO is to create unregistered, unique breeds using bits and pieces of other breeds that I like.
I will try my best to update as since the recipes will be ever changing in the midst of me perfecting my work, and until the system allows the option to submit breeds to the register, they will all be listed as "Grade" but I will keep track of the lines and work as best as I can to stay within my own standards.
My secondary account (Keezheekoni) works on the Chincoteague Miniature Pony, while my Primary account works on the Alpine Draft Horse project.
I do not like working with a partner, unfortunately, partner work and I never get along not can I seem to keep up with it. I like being able to work efficiently on my own and have only one mind to keep track of everything as ridiculous as that sounds...

Breed Information and General Idea
Chincoteague Nymph/Miniature Pony
About: The idea of creating this breed is to have a light structured pony with a carried tail, they are more of a showy type over anything, meant to be small pets. The game currently doesn't hold for any white markings, however in the future, these guys are pretty much just bred for beauty, though the longer legs of their heritage give it a better basis for running. They have slight incurve on their ears, too much and they could be rejected for registration. They are not really supposed to come in Appaloosa/Pintaloosa patterns because they don't have appy lines in the "legitimate breed register." They are thin for a pony breed, don't stand taller than 50 Inches, and tend to have either very haughty or very quiet personalities.
Ideal Image: Light, long legs, carried tail, slight ear incurve, any markings but appaloosa/Pintaloosa, praised for dilutions and covers such as cream, grey, and champagne.
Height: 23 inches to 50 inches
Build: Light to Very Light
Body Size: 15% to 35%
Type: 60% to 80% Horse(?) type
Recipe:
(Shetland x Turkmene) + (Caspian x Turkmene) = Half Turkmene
Half Turkmene + ?
Alpine Draft Horse
About: Originally created as a form of Spotted Draft, they are best known for their two types of structures and elaborate patterns. There's two groups that ADH can be categorized as by breed standards:
Cold Climate ADH: Tend to be of thicker coats and have heavy, wavy manes, tails and feathering. They are better for people who are looking for mountain climbing drafts or snow riders as the feathering protects them mainly. They tend to be known for their long wiry tails and thick luscious manes, they are beautiful, however, their hair is hard to maintain without proper equipment.
Warm Climate ADH: ADH(WC) are best known to have naturally cropped tails and short manes, as their hair is fine and much like an appaloosa's hair, they don't have feathering or thick fur, and are best to be kept out of cold climates because its been found that they don't grow thicker coats in the winter.
Ideal Image:
Moderately sturdy structure
long legs
Elegant neck
Optional Roman nose
Optional Feathering
Disqualifications:
Dished nose
Too much tail carriage
Long fine mane
Heavy feathering on warm climate structure
Tiger eye gene/mutation
Lack of feathering on cold climate structure
Excessive Coat sheen on cold climate structure
Fleabitten grey
Height: 18hh +
Build: Medium to Medium heavy
Body Size: 35% to 55%
Type: 60% to 80% Horse-Type
Recipe:
Friesian + Arappaloosa = (Friesian x Arappaloosa)

Re: Athelas Illegitamate Breeds
Hello, nice to meet you!

Re: Athelas Illegitamate Breeds
I've been working hard mainly on the ADH, I've updated the structure and have gone more in depth with my precision of preference. I will update also with recent fillies that have been born that I've chosen to keep that might be good for the program

Re: Athelas Illegitamate Breeds
The breeds sound great. I just want to point out that Appaloosa is a breed, not a colouring. Pintaloosa is a crossbreed of an Appy and the colour breed called a Pinto. I think you meant: 'no spotted colourings, overo or tobiano. Also, all grey horses turn fleabitten as they age.Fuscontidox wrote:.

Re: Athelas Illegitamate Breeds
Appaloosa is used to describe the over all patterning of a horse that has colors found from Appaloosa lineage, pintaloosa describes a horse with both expressed patterns of the pinto types and Appaloosa marking, yes Appaloosa is a breed, but it's also used to describe the marking types based by category and lineage :3
They can be pinto category, they cannot have Appaloosa heritage (CMP that is)
And, I do believe I have seen a few spot-lacking greys that aged put solid, I could be wrong but I think I've seen some...

Yus, some greys fade to white and stay that way instead of acquiring the little flea-bites.Fuscontidox wrote:Appaloosa is used to describe the over all patterning of a horse that has colors found from Appaloosa lineage, pintaloosa describes a horse with both expressed patterns of the pinto types and Appaloosa marking, yes Appaloosa is a breed, but it's also used to describe the marking types based by category and lineage :3
