I'm puzzled with strength BR
So, I've got 4 foals from my leading stallion.
Breeders reports are:
This filly seems as strong as average.
I cannot be certain, but it seems she'll grow into a strong filly.
With a little training, he'll grow into quite a strong colt. (fairly strong x fairly strong)
This filly seems as strong as average.
I suppose only 2 and 3 are good enough for breeding for strength. Am I right?
And fairly strong is not so good, isn't it?

Only #3.

Re: I'm puzzled with strength BR
And what about this one? "I've seen perfect movement and I've seen just plain awful movement." Is it good or bad?

Sorry, a not native English speaker here, that answer puzzled me even more than the original statement

Re: I'm puzzled with strength BR
It's right in the middle, not good, not bad. The assessor is referring to the what they're seeing the horse do, some perfect movement and some awful movement.Tjigra wrote:And what about this one? "I've seen perfect movement and I've seen just plain awful movement." Is it good or bad?

Thanks, so I've been translating that right. I was afraid it might be something along the lines of "I've seen good, I've seen bad, and then I've seen your horse", which would mean it's worse than the awful

Yeah, you're cool. Definitely, I would vote for including this passage into red BR for movement.

I'll ask you again.
I got report like
This filly is pretty strong, looks nice.
Does it better than "With a little training, he'll grow into quite a strong colt"?

Just an update. Have you ever seen this BR on any horse except Belgian? How high her strength is in points?

Good strong filly you've got here should hold up for you. Well, her natural speed is good. Might want to consider racing this one. Wow, you'd be making a mistake not to compete in endurance events with this filly! This filly is very cautious and gracious when she moves. Who needs a watch when you've got this filly, she's got great tempo. Nice filly! Really knows how to keep herself balanced. Appears to be a very agile filly, should do good for you. Bloody filly is smart! Too smart!
