Ultra rare colours
Hey,
anyone has horses with ultra rare, nearly unique colours? Some are so rare that it's hard figuring the colour out by logic...
I have for example this one

Think she is Silver Black (double) Pearl Champagne... I have seen one more horse like that and also a variant on brown.
Click also on her sire! That's the only horse I have ever seen in game with this colour. I think he might be some Sooty Gold Pearl Champagne (double pearl?).

Re: Ultra rare colours
I don't know if it is really that ultra rare but I have 3 horses as of now that are as white as this one:
ℬℳ Hero of Snow

Black base, silver, champagne and double cream can be sorted out but it is pretty much impossible to determine if they have any other dilutions like dun or roan on top of that white coat.

He is beautiful!

Re: Ultra rare colours
I find them all beautiful.
Has anyone ever figured out this stallion's color? At a guess, Bay base, Silver dapple (white mane and tail), 2 Creams, and Sooty because of the brown shading -- Sooty Silver Perlino. (On my monitor he has pink around his eye, nostril, and muzzle -- but lacks the speckling that Champagne would cause.)
Oreo (RH), a mixed Friesian

Re: Ultra rare colours
@Totina: Yeah I've seen a few of them, but it's rare.
@Scythian: He is actually "just" Silver Perlino, possibly with pangare, but its expressed prettily on him with the fluffs and such

Re: Ultra rare colours
THe last horse is hardly Perlino, those legs are far to dark for him to be double cream

Re: Ultra rare colours
He is definitely perlino. The legs being so dark is not a problem for perlino since it can vary between horses how dark legs they have. The other option could have been one cream and one pearl gene (buckskin pearl) but looking at his long list of offsprings he has not given any foal with a pearl gene (a horse that looks like it has no cream gene at all) so that possibility is highly unlikely.Alana wrote:THe last horse is hardly Perlino, those legs are far to dark for him to be double cream

I have to ask if this foal of his carries cream? http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/160967Totina wrote:

if not he must be something other than Perlino but I am not very good at the brown variations I am afraid so the foal could very well be a Brown with the Cream gene

Re: Ultra rare colours
Yes, that horse has one cream gene as well. You can see it on the lighter areas that look a little golden. If the horse had no cream gene those areas would have been more red in colour.Alana wrote:I have to ask if this foal of his carries cream? http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/160967Totina wrote:

Re: Ultra rare colours
And there is no chance of him being Brown Cream Silver? the sire I mean. I am just having a hard time grasping the concept of a double dilute to be so dark, going to start digging into the Cream dilution a little bit more though cause I like to learnTotina wrote:
