What does the plus mean under Attributes then Breed [+#]

What does the "+4" etc mean for example: Arabian [+4]
I see horses with +1 and so on.

It's how many generations of purebred horses there are in the bloodline. Arabian [+1] means that both parents are purebred arabians for example.
