Services Market
Hi, I have noticed that a lot of new players don't know how to use, or even about the forum, so when I want to advertise for a service, I put an add for training or boarding or mare popping in the market, via writing about my service in an offers only add. But these adds don't belong in the market, so I was thinking, alike the stallions at stud,
and horses for sale pages, there could be a 'services' page. In the services page, you could post an add for training, mare popping, boarding, champing, or aging out. You could put a per horse price, how many horses you can have at a time, and how long it takes you (For training, mare popping, or champing). Then someone could go in and search for a service by telling it the price range, the service, how many avalible spots, and how long it takes. also, there could be a feature for reveiws like 'never takes pictures of horses' or 'finished my horses training in only 15 minunets!' so people know how accurate everything is.

I think that's a great idea! It would make it a lot easier to know who to trust and how well they do things. It would also save a lot of timearabella123 wrote:...

I agree I've been wanting this for a long time, just never knew how to word it! well, you've done it for me! It would help smaller breeders like me get more business without having to post in General Chit Chat. And all the features sound amazing! Also, (getting a list here lol!) I LOVE the idea of the review!! I never know how people think about my services, and I have had some suggestions and they have greatly improved the way I run. This way, me and others can advertise easier and know what they're doing right/wrong and people know exactly who to go to for these services!Ivy Stables wrote:Hi, I have noticed that a lot of new players don't know how to use, or even about the forum, so when I want to advertise for a service, I put an add for training or boarding or mare popping in the market, via writing about my service in an offers only add. ahhh I feel like I was very hard to understand throughout that, but the whole thing is: yes I agree. I hope this gets added in soon

Re: Services Market
I think it's a good idea to have a separate forum section related to players offering services. This would help decrease clutter in the general forum - it can be very tedious skipping over all of the service posts to actually find chit chat.
I don't agree with searching that forum based on service/price/etc. There are too many aspects and qualifications to be easily searchable. Instead it should be on the player offering services to make their business stand out - a catchy headline for their thread, etc, will help them differentiate themselves from everyone else. Also, adding a new forum category is simple and can be done without fuss whereas adding a whole new search system would take time and effort that could be better spent elsewhere.

Thanks, you were really easy to understand, I also think it would be helpful if you could register your horse and make it so you click a button and the horse would be at your farm again, so you don't need to worry about your horse being stolenArabianFantic wrote:I agree I've been wanting this for a long time, just never knew how to word it! well, you've done it for me!
