Silver Bay under Sooty?

Post by GothicRoses »

So I was wondering if this filly had inherited silver from her sire and is silver bay under the sooty?

And also what is this AC Turkmene stallion's colour? I'm guessing Cremello but I don't really know.

Thanks in advance :D

Filly's definitely not silver. Her grey tail is probably due to a tobanio spot in there or MAYBE plume.
I think the stallion is cream pearl palomino or double pearl. Definitely not cremello. I know cream, but I'm not so good with pearl

I agree with Kelpie on the first horse.
Silver didn't pass on to the filly; it's the tobiano that's caused the flush on her tail.

As for AC turks... I don't think any of them carry the pearl gene, so this horse needs to be a double cream, on chestnut. They're also not suppose to have tiger eye, I think, but that eye is pretty dark as well, not brown though. This horse should be a cremello, but could also be a glitch. In the glitch case, likely a straight palomino underneath.

Correct. AC Turks do not carry pearl. Only NABs do.

The horse in question is cremello - the super bright Turk version of it, with sooty and dun. The sooty is actually darkening the eye as well on this horse. Check out his ankles for dun spots. Otherwise it's super faint, but it is there. A glitch won't show a horse with a body color it can't actually have so nothing other than a NAB will show with a pearl body color even if it is a glitch. The only other options for an AC Turk would be undiluted, single dilute, perlino, smoky cream, or brown cream and he's definitely not those.
