horses dying

why do horses have to die in this game!!! i lost my to of my best studs. what age do horses die at? i was earning money when my horses died and didn't get to see the age. also so goats are soooo cute!!!!!

Horse's pass on so that the game and the bloodlines can move forward.
The chance of horses to 'move on to greener pastures' begins on the day they turn 17 years old and increases slightly with each turn thereafter. Most horses appear to pass between 22 and 24 years. Keeping a mare constantly pregnant will keep her alive for longer, she only risks death on the same day she drops her foal.

If you want to see the age of your horse at the time they died, look at their parents progeny tab and find them. The last noted age will be found there, hence the 'age at time of death'.

And yes, the goats are certainly cute! :mrgreen:
