Baladi?

I am trying to get an Arabian x NAB cross for my breeding cross, but I just keep getting Baladi.

The Arabian (mare) has an overall 4 in Baladi, and the NAB (stallion) has an overall 3 in Baladi.

So why do I keep getting Baladi?

Cause the parent horses and their breed evaluations counter each other, resulting in Baladi foals; ya just gotta keep trying, alternatively breed with other horses. You'll get your cross eventually

Is there a list or something, or does anyone know, if an Arabian can test less than 4 for Baladi? I found a NAB mare with a test of 3.

I got curious and evaluated all my Arabians - they're all too big, but other than that, fit with the Baladi book standards perfectly
The funny thing is, I've been crossing Arabians with NABs all the time, and haven't got a single Baladi. I only found out how Baladi is made when looking at the quests - to see if I can probably score some of them with the horses I have. Now I've crossed my smallest NAB mare with my only Arabian stallion - but by Murphy's law I won't get a Baladi, will I?

Dunno what breed you're going for ultimately, but height is prob the easiest to manipulate in order to avoid getting Baladis, like Tjigra mentioned. Either that or commit to some prior crossbreeding to get Arabians with body size greater than 25%.

And of course, I didn't get a Baladi One of the foals is only a 1* and too small , the other is 3*, but looks like she'll be an inch or two too tall.

Thanks, but no, I don't need a Baladi, I just wanted to get that quest out of the way, and to do that, I believe, I need to breed my own Baladi.
If you're interested in one of my NAB x Arabs, though, make an offer - I think I'd be ready to part with any of them but Quassandra and Liam (until he gives me a CB foal).
