So, I crossed a Shetland with an Appaloosa to make a Pony of the Americas. But the filly is a Shetland x Appaloosa (50%). What did I do wrong?

So, I crossed a Shetland with an Appaloosa to make a Pony of the Americas. But the filly is a Shetland x Appaloosa (50%). What did I do wrong?

Sometimes it takes a few breedings before you finally get the right breed (also make sure they have a 5* Pony of Americas breed evaluation). Keep on breeding the two horses and hopefully you'll get one.

It can be pretty frustrating trying to get a new breed. Just make sure both the parents meet the criteria for the breed you're looking for or you'll never get one.
