ISO Fleabitten Arabians
I'm searching for fleabitten colored Arabians (not sure if that's the term used here, but it's what I've always heard them called). I'm not too concerned about stats, but I don't want more than on red. I'll pay 10-20K, or if your horse is worth more, let me know. Here's an example of what I'm looking for. https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2748014 Although I'm not picky about mane and tail colors, I do prefer longer/fuller mane and tails.

The colour is called fleabitten grey (usually only grey).Hidalgo wrote:I'm searching for fleabitten colored Arabians (not sure if that's the term used here, but it's what I've always heard them called). Re: ISO Fleabitten Arabians
He is quite a beauty, and he is a flea bitten gray, but he’s not quite what I’m looking for since he’s not purebred Arabian. Thanks, though!!!Rosey_Stables wrote:To be horse im not 100% sure if he counts as flea-bitten but I can sell him for 15k or 20kHidalgo wrote:...

Re: ISO Fleabitten Arabians
Thank you for searching those for me! I think maybe they didn’t come up in my search because I limited my search to 14-15 hands (I kind of don’t like all the giant Arabians, lol) Do you know if the graying gene always produces the flea bitten gray look, or is it something a little different?Pieta wrote:The colour is called fleabitten grey (usually only grey).Hidalgo wrote:I'm searching for fleabitten colored Arabians (not sure if that's the term used here, but it's what I've always heard them called). I just love that colour (my favorites are grey on black, grey on bay and grey on seal brown)My longterm project is to breed that colour in my herd to get more realistic looking lipizzaners, I already breed few Lipizzans in that colour, but not enough ... I really like that foals are born in their base coat colour and turn grey when they are adults

Re: ISO Fleabitten Arabians
In my experience almost always (fleabitten grey gene is dominant over "only" grey gene). Little spots become more visible when horse is about 10-12 years old. I don't like giant horses eitherHidalgo wrote:Thank you for searching those for me! Re: ISO Fleabitten Arabians
I may have a few flea-bitten-gray mares; just check out the foaling pasture on my farm.Hidalgo wrote:I'm searching for fleabitten colored Arabians (not sure if that's the term used here, but it's what I've always heard them called). Ping me if you see any that you'd like.
Edit: I found this stallion on the market: https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2385573
