You would click on a horse then scroll down and click "Find Competitions"
Next you would choose the discipline you want your horse to compete in and the level. You can choose the maximum entry fee for a competition. If you're just starting I'd suggest 20 - 500 it all depends on how much money you have to spend lol. Next you would look at the competitions and enter your horse. :)

I usually don't put my horse in a competition if the entry fee is more than twice the purse. Also, before you put your horse in a competition you should probably look at the horses that are already entered ( If there are any ) because it gives you a good idea of if its even going to be worth it. I personally compete in the Hunter discipline and anytime I see multiple Friesian horses I usually 2nd guess putting my horse in that competition especially if there are more than 5 horses because they tend to have a score over or very close to 50 :/

If you want to know more about a certain horse's scores click on the horses and scroll down. You should see xyz discipline and if you click on it you can see their scores.

Before you put a horse in a specific discipline you should put your horse in a local show first and if you don't know what would be a high score and what would be a low score you can look at competition results ( Click competitions and then Competition Results which is under the " My Farm " button ) and compare it to the results your horse got. Trained horses do better in competitions and a lot of times horses do worse in competitions against other players' horses than they do in local shows score wise.

When it comes to champing and choosing what discipline would be best for you horse here is a good reference:

I use it very often and it is extremely helpful :D

Hope this helped!
