so pale!

Post by haltanny »

I'm note sure I've had a foal born this light, but I can't figure out what she is. I think I see extreme pangare. And she has some kind of appy pattern, which is kinda hard to see. Kinda hoping she will darken up as she matures!

She's lovely! :)

Basically perlino, with Leopard Complex. Perlinos tend to darken from chalk white to pale brown. If she received Varnish as well as spotting, that could modify it further.

Not perlino. Cream-Pearl. The sire is very obviously not a cream carrier.

Oo Cream pearl? Nifty! I don't think I've had pearl genetics before. Is she a bay base, like her dam, do you think?

Thank you for the clarification. Double dilutes are complicated. :)
