Re: Ping
Thank you! It is hard to find horses that perform well on comps. I usually don't want to breed my mares with stallions that have win % under 75% (the higest is better). Do you have any good western horses (it isn't necessarily to be QH) to breed with them or do know other breeders to collaborate with them?Grand Prix wrote:Just so you know order of importance (Their confos)Pieta wrote:
Hi! I breed and trained few more QHs (one mare is half QH). Can you tell me what do you think about them?
Admiring Magic
Scotch Whiskey or Champagne
Scotch's Magic
Little Star
Cooper Flame
Hollywood Magic Star
Cleopatra's Little Voice
Amazing--Best
Great-- Standard
Fairly Great--Almost there
Good--Average
Ok-- Just below average
Bad-- Not really bad just not there yet (I couldn't find a short word to describe it)
For Admiring Magic
The WR is: 61.11 (Western Trail)
His best is: 57.24
So he seems to be doing fairly well. I would recommend breeding him but to a mare stronger.
And considering his parents scores he is above his Dams by quite a bit.
Dam Best score: 55.01
Sire Best score: 57.91
So you are improving the lines of your QHs even in looks. If you go in pedigree his ancestors are not as good looking as he is.
The Golds you are looking for are: Agility, Balance, Intelligence, Stamina you got...
Stamina 47--Gold--(Great)
Balance 31 --Green-- (Good)
Agility 46--Gold--(Great)
Intelligence--Gold--(Great)
So his overall, is nice. I know his sire is great at what he does and is holding up great and I do think he has a strong heart.
For (I am just going to call him Scotch Whiskey) Scotch Whiskey
The WR is: 61.11 (Western Trail)
The WR is: 63.7 (Western Pleasure)
The WR is: 65.04 (Working Ranch)
All by Bitapetrones horses.
I am more impressed with him than I am with the first one. Just because the overall look of his comp record. I love the color again. This is why I wanted you to be in the project, just for the reason of I really love your lines because their heart is strong, their records are good and they are good looking while doing it.
The Golds you are looking for in Western Trail are: Agility, Balance, Intelligence, Stamina
He has:
Stamina 41--Gold--(Fairly Great)
Intelligence--Gold--(Great)
Balance 58--Gold--(Amazing)
Agility 29--Gold--(Ok)
Tempo 37--Green--(Good)
The Golds you are looking for in Western Pleasure are: Intelligence, Balance, Movement, Tempo
He has:
Intelligence--Gold--(Great)
Balance 58--Gold--(Amazing)
Movement 55--Gold--(Great)
Tempo 37--Green--(Good)
The Golds you are looking for in Working Ranch are: Intelligence, Agility, Balance, Strength
Strength 23--Nothing--(bad)
Intelligence--Gold--(Great)
Balance 58--Gold--(Great)
Agility 29--Gold--(Ok)
So as you can see he is hitting most of the standards. When or if you breed him, make sure to do it with a higher strength and Agility mare. As for the Saddleseat I do not recommend it. His WPS is much too low and with not a very high or much chance of being a sire to a RH or Top Horse.
For the rest of the horses I will just tell you a bit about what I think of each of them and how I judged the others.
Scotch's Magic
So for him I recommend to continue the Western Trail,Western Pleasure,Working Ranch and even Cutting. Even though his WPS is not nearly as high as the other comps he was showed in he still brings promise.
Levels
For Western Trail I would Try some higher levels (No lvl 10 or anything) just maybe up to lvl 5 and see how he does. This will help us to see where his heart gene is at.
For Western Pleasure I think you should go higher he is banked at lvl 5 right now at a 92.3 % WPS and that is very decent so maybe try some lvl 5-8 shows and see how it goes.
Cutting...This one is more difficult since he isn't doing as well. I would keep him in Cutting just try not to go past lvl 5 shows because I feel he may flop. The horses going into those shows were bred for it. He was bred for Western pleasure (ect.) and excelling at it. Don't push him too hard.
Working Ranch we can see he has had 31 starts 10 firsts and 10 seconds. I like to look at ho[horse=][/horse]w many 1sts they have got in perspective of how high will he go in lvl in the ring. I would put him in comps up to lvl 6-7, his WPS might go down but we will again get to know how strong his heart is.
Little Star
I like this one, he grabs my heart... Back to my opinion, Ok so for Western Trail He has an ok WPS and a scary future.
See he seems to be a bit scattered in the sense his scores range from a 45.62 to a 55.02, now in comp if you were entering a big comp I wouldn't bet on him. Just for the reason that he seems to have a Intermittent Heart: A horse that occasionally shows really outstanding performances, but between these, shows rather average or even really poor performances. A lot of our horses and indeed many of our RH and Rh's have this one. It is most often viewed by having a really wide range of scores in their competitions, rather than a much slimmer range. (beautifully written by BlackOak2).
So keep him in Western trail and maybe try some others as well just to see if he has a secret talent you never knew about.
Cooper Flame
With No comp record I cannot say much, other then he looks like he might do well in Western pleasure. I am not a Western person but I do know that he looks more like a Western Pleasure horse then a Western Trail horse (But prove me wrong!)
Hollywood Magic Star
Really like that name.
Anyway...I really like the look of her. She has great predigee and I soon hope to see some RH foals from her. She is most likely not going to have a RH just a Top Horse. Not saying a Top Horse isn't fabulous just shoot for the starts right? Well with her Sire being from h0rseys line I know I don't have to look into anything. h0rsey is one of my favorite QH breeders and they fail to let me down with their lines. (You being my other fav QH person). She seems very promising and I recommend to continue showing her until she is a SMGC the we will know her true heart strength. Her foals so far I have found this one to pop out the most to me Oriental Magic StarI like the confo (Speed 33
Strength 18
Stamina 42
Intelligence Conformation does not affect Intelligence
Balance 34
Movement 40
Agility 34
Tempo 31) Not as much as the others but he seems promising (Keep me updated with him please)
Cleopatra's Little Voice
Last but not least!
I like her WPS, I like the stats and I like her placings. I would recommend to champ her to a SMGC (Do not sell her to any new or iffy Champers they will most likely rip you off and steal your horse). But she seems very promising.
(I would like updates on her too please!)
Why I highlighted Blue and Pink?
Blue- I think they have true potential
Pink- Not as promising but have potential
Black- Truly have no idea
I hope this is what you were looking for!

Ok so I have this one Here - https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2082723 (I do not think he would suit any of yours but if you got a good arab Mare I would recommend breeding her to him. He was my best grinder he once got me over 200PT in a few days.
I also have - https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2615659 I do think he would suit Cleopatra's Little Voice. We could get some nice foals out of them. (h0rseys line)
I also have this mare - https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2578821 (h0rseys line again), but I could do a deal where I breed her twice to your best stud for free you get one foal and I get one?
Hope you see something you like. Feel free too look around If you see anything we can talk!

Wow, 2nd and 3rd are stunning! I would definifly be interested to make breeding combination with them.Grand Prix wrote:Like I said before I am not a Western breeder (Although I am getting into QHs...Hmmm, Let me see...Pieta wrote: Thank you! Hi! I have few updates on Cleopatra's Little Voice. She is now Grand Champion (1,158 points) in Western Trail, her Win % is 77.1 % and her best score is 58.29 (the WR is 61.11).Grand Prix Champing wrote:Ping

I also need your opinion about Little Chocolate. Both her parents are from h0rsey line and at the moment she is Champion in Western Pleasure (578 points, Win % 80.3%) with best score 59.56 (the WR is: 63.7).

So definitely breed the first two I think the foal might have some nice potential in different things.Pieta wrote:Grand Prix wrote:PingGrand Prix Training wrote:PingHi! And for the second one yes I do think she has potential just be careful not to push them too hard until they are exactly what you are looking for because comps cost money and you want to earn not loose. Right?

Hi! There is not much news with QH, but I have question. I have that Lipizzaner Stallion who is fully trained and has GOLD Stamina, Tempo, Balance and Intelligence and GREEN Agility. His HGP is 70,795. Do you think that I should champ him? If so what discipline do you recomend?Grand Prix wrote:Ping
