Purity percentages
I suspect I have created a problem for myself.
I outcrossed my Haflinger studs with Belgians. After a couple of generations of crossbreed studs and pure mares, I have the mix to 80-20 with a handful at 95-5.
If I breed any of the crosses, will the higher percentage continue to rise to 100%? or will the Belgian always be in the mix?

Re: Purity percentages
It'll eventually go to 100%. I've done the same and I think if you breed the 95% ones to pure ones, you'll end up with a 100% foal.

Thanks, Corvus!
Now, I need to inventory pastures and figure out who goes with whom. So happy I haven't completely tanked my lines.
