ISO Silver Black Pearl Dapple Horse *Getting Desperate*
Hey, I am desperately looking for a silver black pearl dapple horse. I will take any breed but would prefer a purebred. I can pay into the millions for the right horse.
Preferences:
Younger than 10 years old
No reds
At least 2 golds
HGP of 50k+
Thank you!

Re: ISO Silver Black Pearl Dapple Horse
Hi, I have tons of silver black pearl dapple Thoroughbreds, although I’d have to ask Oreo if it would be ok to sell one, since you are not a club member and Oreo wants her lines to stay private.Thundermare wrote:Hey, I am looking for a silver black pearl dapple horse. That would be great, but I understand if Oreo doesn't want them to be soldh0rsey2 wrote:Hi, I have tons of silver black pearl dapple Thoroughbreds, although I’d have to ask Oreo if it would be ok to sell one, since you are not a club member and Oreo wants her lines to stay private.Thundermare wrote:Hey, I am looking for a silver black pearl dapple horse. Your best bet is to make them yourself.Thundermare wrote:Hey, I am desperately looking for a silver black pearl dapple horse. I will take any breed but would prefer a purebred. I can pay into the millions for the right horse.

A few suggestions.
Recipe needs:
single or double black
single or double silver
single pearl (hidden), but confirmed (necessity)
double pearl
Things to avoid (to make it easy on identification)
Any cream genes
Any champagne genes
Tiger eye
Chestnuts
Agouti's
Lp
Sale horses to consider:
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2550628 - possibly double black, but useful as a base, single silver, no agouti, no other dilution genes evident.
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2423325 - possibly double black & silver, possibly single cream carrier (no foal picture, but sire definitely carried one copy), also has double tiger eye
I saw no obvious pearls under 100k for sale.
You're next best bet is stalking the AC for the pearl NAB's.
Stud horses to consider:
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/952119 - this stud's owner has his color correct. ALL of this sire's foals will be a pearl carrier or double dilute, depending on the mare he's matched with.
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1743291 - this one is the same color as the above stud and will be in the same boat.
https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2080045 - his color appears correct as well. He's on a brown base, but he offers silver too.
All three of these standing studs will produce foals that are pearl carriers and can work successfully with the two mares liked above.
A word of warning. If ANY foal pops as a double dilute: it'll have blue eyes and will be a cream & pearl. There the possibility that the second mare will do this to you. I would suggest just culling these foals and await the ones that pop as basic blacks paired with silver. All of these will be pearl carriers and by breeding these foals together will eventually pop your double pearl.
Build slowly... or it may build slowly. Trying to breed all four of these genes at the same time (silver, black, pearl & the second pearl), will be a bit irritating. But by being diligent, culling heavy and not getting caught up by that 'but, it looks CUTE' that we all get caught by at times, you should have your silver dapple black pearls in as little as three generations.
