I thought I knew, now I'm not so sure...

Okay, so I thought this horse was a DD, but he has dark eyes. What color is he, and can you check his parents as well? Thanks!

He is Gold Cream Roan. Possibly dun as well but it is very difficult to see (could be confirmed if he gives dun foals with non-dun mares)

The freckles around are caused by champagne. Since he is also very light coloured (the freckles are barely visible) it means he is also cream. If he had two genes for cream he would have blue eyes but since he has dark eyes he only has one gene for cream. When zooming in on the coat I can also see that he is roan. It is most visible on the thigh towards the back leg where the roan pattern can be seen as "fur" or short lines in a slightly lighter colour than the rest of the coat, although it is very easy to miss unless you know what kind of roan pattern you are looking for and zoom in on the specific area where it is most visible on such light coloured horses.
It is also possible that he is dun but probably not. His mother is dun, I believe, since her coat is a little more "greenish" in comparison to him, which I have noticed is due to dun on cream+champagne coloured horses that I have bred and got dun foals from.

Thank you! I actually don't have a use for him, so I'm going to retire him. But now I know, so I corrected his dam's color (Gold Cream Champagne Roan) and now I'll look out for dun foals out of her.
