Newbie: confusing combos?
Hey everyone!
As in the title, I'm new to the game and understanding equine colour genetics, so was hoping to get some advice on this lovely guy's combination of colours and patterns!
If seen in the link...I'm very confused about which specific light colour he has with his darker leopard spots...all I know is he's Champagne (dark freckles on his muzzle)!
Secret Thunder

Thanks in advance

(tiger eye + chestnut + champagne + tobiano +varnish roan + PATN1)
If I were to write out the genetic code, a dash indicates the gene can be any gene on that allele (i.e. E/- means that the horse can be E/E or E/e):
e/e Ch/- Tg/- TO/- Lp/lp PATN/-

Thank you so much, really appreciate that you added the genetic codes too as I’m finding it really interesting learning about it all!Malakai10 wrote: Tiger eye gold champagne tobiano leopard
