barns
I bought a 12 horse barn yesterday. To regulate some horses weights,Put one in to starve it. It is far to fat lol.Six months its been in there and not lost a pound .Also the other horses a put in there,i was feeding them at 400% to get 63% energy. Is this a known bug ,because i only bought this barn to regulate weight and its of no use at all.A mean a read this before a bought it.If a horse is fed more than 100% of what he needs he'll gain weight, and if he's fed less then 100% he'll lose weight. this is not happening in this barn lol..

Re: barns
Could you link to your horses? I can only find nine starving horses with 25% of their need covered in hay.
Regarding weight gaining, there are some things you should know.
1. There is a maximum feed number (it stands on your horses page). If you exceed this number, the horse will not be able to physically eat all food.
2. Horses eat food in the order they stand. If you begin with hay, it will feed on hay, and then it might not have room for more nourishing feeds further down (such as weight gain mix).
3. Right now, no penalties for weird sugar/fiber/protein-balance are implemented; so you can feed them 100% weight gain mix. It is what I would recommend for weight ganing. Just make sure nothing is above it in the feeding list.

Re: barns
I moved him away after 1year in barn.Gave him nothing for a year ,went in ..Weight: Very Fat, 2,156 lbs /came out the same as he went in.Moved it to LOCH LOMAND STUD .Name is,/ Am To Fat /.Thanks for looking,i understand what your saying About maximum feed. When a did that they had very little energy to train.Thats why i tryed the 400% and that only gave 63% energy. That cost a fortune for the night that was on lol.Now i have just left them with very little.I only bought it to regulate weight and train them better. It does not seem that the barn does either of these things.I did try it with 4 diffrent sized horses to get the energy up.Did not work and as you know ,if you got no energy you cant train.
Again thanks for looking into this and any help would be much Appreciated .

Re: barns
The barn working perfectly now, used 25 hay 75 pro mix.and there getting there 100% energy now.So thats no a problem.Still leaves the horse that a starved for a year not losing any weight.A do not no how to link it.sorry about that .Its name is am to fat .To be honest av got lighter belgian than this lol. 2.156 pound is alot of weight for that horse.Again thanks for your help.Maybe its just got a weight gene lol.

Re: barns
Am To Fat is on 95% Performance Mix and 13% Grass giving him a total of 108% Daily Energy, as long as the total is 100% or more he will not loose any weight.
I would suggest cutting out the performance mix and let him graze around 60% of his daily energy, he will be lower in energy untill you get his weight down but after that you can adjust his feed so it is balanced around 100% and then he will have normal energy levels again

Re: barns
Actually, there might be a bug about weight loosing. I once had a mare that refused to loose weight, even though she was on only 60% of her needs (I could not starve her completely since I did not have a barn at the time). She didn't change a pound, but stayed put on the exact weight for her entire life.ledger2 wrote:thanks Alana that's what he is on now. When in barn for a year with no feed at all ,think its a bug in the horse hes a 1000 pounds over weight for a Deliboz horse.Just wanted to see what he could realy do with that weight off. Thanks for the reply.
So, put him on starvation again, and if he still does not loose, make a bug report?

If you click on "Full editor & Preview" beneath the Quick Reply, you get the full editor, where you can click "horse=", and then insert the id of your horse after the "=" in the bracket that shows up. You find the id if your horse by checking its profile (go to the barn/pasture, click the blue "+") and copying the number at the end of their internet adress (for example the horse http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/435920 has the id 435920). This links directly to the horse, with its latest picture.ledger wrote:A do not no how to link it.sorry about that
Also, if you are having trouble with feed money, use a pasture

[horse=]http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/460763#[/horse].A dont know if thats right or not,am as thick as a brick.Firstly a would like to thank everyone for there help. A got that horse when a first started here.It was one of fishs horses before he won that big race. It made me a small fortune in stud fees.so a thought it desereved a reward lol.So a sent it to fat camp and starved it for a year, not realy much off a reward for making me money. But it got its own back by refusing to lose a pound in weight. All the horses round about it were on there knees way nothing to eat.and that thing was prancing around singing. Am sure av got a couple of horses that were in that barn with no legs, you can guess what he was eating then..The horse is a cannibal. The horse does not owe me anything i just wanted to see how fast it could realy go with the weight off.Again thanks for all the help.you could try that horses profile and see if it works and let me know if a made a muck up off it...
