Well, it's August 12th and time for the riddles! Here they are:
Riddle #1:
I speak without a mouth and hear without ears.
I have no body, but I come alive with wind.
What am I?
Answer: Radiovawe emiter/reciever?

Riddle #2:
You measure my life in hours and I serve you by expiring.
I’m quick when I’m thin and slow when I’m fat.
The wind is my enemy.
What am I?
Answer: Burning Candle

Riddle #3:
I have cities, but no houses.
I have mountains, but no trees.
I have water, but no fish.
What am I?
Answer: A dwarven kingdom! It has cities, but no houses, as dwarves live in caves and rooms chiselled in rock. It is inside of stony mountain, where trees don't grow. It has underwater lakes, where fish don't live!

Riddle #4:
What is seen in the middle of March and April that can’t be seen at the beginning or end of either month?
Answer: Letter R

Riddle #5:
You see a boat filled with people.
It has not sunk, but when you look again you don’t see a single person on the boat.
Why?
Answer: The boat was approaching port and people had disembarked.

Riddle #6:
What is the only English word that has three consecutive double letters?
Answer: I googled it up so can't write it here. This is an abomination excellent for annoying students during English tests!

Riddle #7:
I come from a mine and get surrounded by wood always.
Everyone uses me.
What am I?
Answer: Graphite in pencils

Riddle #8:
What disappears as soon as you say its name?
Answer: Silence

Riddle #9:
How can the number four be half of five?
Answer: Exactly the same way as numer eight can be half of ten.

Riddle #10:
I have keys, but no locks and space, and no rooms.
You can enter and escape, but you can’t go outside.
What am I?
Answer: Computer Keyboard

Which horse breed is my favorite?
Answer: Either Boerperds or Aegidienbergers.
