Which weekend would you like the next Conformation Show series to be on?

• September 9-11 (may be too sad)
  Sept. 23-25
  Sept. 30-Oct. 2 (straddling months may make this difficult, but to be fair late in Oct. is Halloween so early Oct., Nov., and Dec. may allow us to avoid holiday celebrations)

When would you like entries to be taken?

• Now!
  Two weeks before shows (since no time travel available, will need to be later show date)
  One week before shows

(Everyone is allowed to vote, but hopefully most voters will be involved in the actual shows ha.)

What I would do, at least for the future, is to let people enter for a week and then during the next few days (2-3 days) just get a list of all the horses and everything organized. Things got a little confusing at the judging point cause it was all a bit rushed and jumbled.

I'll still be happy to judge for future competitions tho.

I think the entries should open 2-3 weeks before shows, that way people have time to enter.
I would suggest holding the judging on, say the third weekend of every month, or something, so it is always at roughly the same time, and also open entries on the first of every month, so its easy for people to remember when to enter.
But for this time round, i'd love for the entries to open now

This is my proposal:

Have entries open up on the first of the month and close on the third (or fourth) Wednesday.

The third (or fourth) Thursday - Saturday organize the classes and allow the judges to judge the entries

Then that Sunday through to the end of the month release the results, organize best of show and prep for the next round of shows.

I also would like to propose that Revenant potentially gather a small base of very active judges that are allowed to step in in the event of illness or absence and keep the shows running smoothly.

Finally, I thought it might be nice to maybe make a google sheet viewable by the public that allows everyone to see all the entries in all the classes neatly organized in one place.

As per usual I will happily volunteer my time and services to make any of the above happen if there is support for the ideas.

I like this. I wouldn't be a very good judge I don't think, but I would like to participate. Opening entries on the first and closing the third Wednesday of the month seems best.

Question though: if an entered horse died before judging, what happens?
