Ive never bred a horse this colour, but what is it??
I'm stumped, I though he was grulla/Black Dun, but I'm not so sure, can anyone enlighten me?

I'm don't claim to be an expert at colours, but he definitely has silver and I've seen black horses that carry the cream gene start out this silvery base colour. so my best guess is silver smokey black?

If you mean silver black, as in silver dapple, then yes. I agree. You're also correct in saying that he carries a cream (father is a double cream carrier; Silver perlino from the looks of it). at least I'm improving getting the silver dapple and cream right!
