Belly Dots?

This horse has weird belly dots. Can someone tell me what they are?

Your Tarpan has the Leopard Complex "switch" turned to "on" so she's developing varnish roan. The older she gets, the more noticeable it will become.
She doesn't have any pattern genes, though, so that's why she doesn't have a blanket etc.

Colton is a mealy wild bay dun with snowflakes. The stuff about varnishing still applies but he has pattern genes (the snowflakes).

I thought snowflakes where all over the body. His seem to just be on his belly.
