Bay or Dun?

Post by KYTrainer »

So I had this boy show up in my herd. I don't see any stripes, but his color looks off, not like a regular bay.

Bay Dun. The lighter parts of his body match the so called "dun mask" - the face, lower side of the jaw, upped body and backs of lower legs. Stripes are a clear sign of a dun, but unfortunately they're not always present.
