Freezing -> Okay or not okay ?!

i read some posts about freezing a horse.

Are here players that don`t freeze and let their horse past away ?

Isn´t it unfair and unrealistic to freeze a horse ?

I just wan`t to hear you opinions to decide what i should do or not do.

A lot of people have 2 accounts 1 for their Champions so they won't age because the account is frozen. Then another that is unfrozen so they can age their horses or if they no longer need the horse they either age him/her out of put the horse for sale.

Personally, I would have 2 accounts 1 frozen 1 none frozen but im about to go broke spending my money on Secretariat and Justify Breyers to pay for account freezing
It is also pretty none realistic but it's a game not reality. I use to play a game where it was supposed to be based on reality but then they added in unicorns, peggisi, and magical pets.

No, I mean horse (that's how it's spelled where I live). You can exchange money between accounts by putting a horse on one of your accounts on the other offer however much you want to exchange the on the account that is selling the horse accept the offer. And if you want to have the horse back then just put it up back for offers and put "Transfer" then on your other account offer 1.
So some Competitions have age limits (like 1-3 etc). So you want to freeze your horse so they won't age for competition. I host a Triple Crown event every year and it's only for 1-4-year-olds so when you are using turns for ageing, mare popping, etc. So you'd want to freeze your horse's age so they won't age.

I used to play Howrse a lot, but recently the owners sold it, ever since it's just been a terrible game. They penalized my account for multi-accounting, but I actually only had one account. We presume they did it because I wasn't buying passes from them... We think that after reading some reviews. Most people (including me) think it used to be great, but now it's terrible. I miss the way it used to be. If they changed it back, I would so totally play again, but I don't see that happening, so...

To answer these two questions directly:
We can freely send horses or money between our accounts. Our admins don't want us cheating and that is nominally (but not necessarily solely) about entering competitions. Freezing horses, either competitors or otherwise isn't considered cheating, many of us do so, especially if a good titled horse doesn't have a match (yet) in your account. By freezing him or her, you can save your project for when you can continue and in the mean time, see just how far your horse can be taken.

Many of us, but not all, will eventually age out even our best horses. It's a style of self-regulation that does keep the game moving forward, but if you take a look at our newsletters (particularly the latest one out, the racing one), you'll notice that by freezing a good competitor, won't really allow you to make money from him or her forever. As the game grows, the improvement of the bloodlines also increases, so that the different levels become more difficult to obtain. So your best horse that might be able to perform at level 10 successfully, in 6 month's time, that horse may only be able to successfully navigate level 6... I exaggerate a bit, but that does offer insight into the progression of the game.
