Why isn't my foal a shire?
So I bred a pure forest to a 50/50 Beligan friesian. According to the wiki its supposed to be Forest horse x (Beligan x friesian). So why is my foal a half forest instead of a shire?

Reading the FAQ is always a good idea http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... =12&t=1692

I didn't see anything in the FAQ about that. Only about what you need to cross, not wether or not you'll actually get that result

Re: Why isn't my foal a shire?
Just means the foal didn't fall into the correct parameters for a Shire. That's the cross required for a shire, it doesn't guarantee a shire foal. If you buy the Shire breed book you could then evaluate the foal to see where he/she failed (too short, not heavy enough etc..) Could be worth trying the same breeding again, you might get lucky eventually! If you have the breed book you can also evaluate the sire and dam to see how close they are to Shire, which can help your breeding decisionsKonnorstegosaurusrex wrote:So I bred a pure forest to a 50/50 Beligan friesian.
