People throw horses up in the market at random prices, especially newbies.

I actually did some investigation work into this... and a good portion of the really expensive horses currently in the market are by users who signed up, spent 20 minutes (I found 2 that were listed as exactly 20 minutes after they signed up) around the site, put their horse up for sale, and haven't been back since. xD

So true, and also just because a horse is up for a certain price doesn't mean it will sell or that it is "worth" that amount.

I am maybe more perplexed when people put horses up for stud for multiple thousands and write about how much the mare will find him hot, not bothering to provide an adult picture, and the horse turns out to be an AC stallion with 2 reds and no positive stats.
