I need more space, but I can't learn new skills?

I haven't been on for awhile, so I'm afraid I might be forgetting something here.

I'm clicking on "horse ownership" under the "learning" tab, but everything is unclickable? Am I forgetting something here?

You probably have a session you need to click finish on in Training or Competition Management. Once you've finished the old one, you'll be able to start a new session under Horse Ownership.
