That will give you the gene combination and options we have for creating the dun 'tiger' or 'primitive' stripings.
The other thoroughbred patterns I think I have are all leopard complex, the spots. For that, there are numerous studies on this, all linked in my quicklinks. It can be a long process, IF starting from scratch. But if breeding to an already established pattern, it's quite a bit easier and quicker. Keep in mind that chestnut or red-based patterns cover a larger area and in a quicker time-frame then the black or black-based patterns (these include black, wild bay, bay and brown).
