ISO These Horses

Post by CBlueberry »

I have a few breeding needs, and would love it if you guys could help me get these horses! I can pay well, and my other account is spottedleaf10. Here we go!
Double silvers
Double brown on double blacks
or, this could work for that
A bunch of silver brown mares
and
A double cream brown stallion

Sooty Buckskin Roan Tobiano

Steeplechasing horses, either from proven good competing lines or tested and showing good scores/win%

Sprint Racing horses, either from proven good competing lines or tested and showing good scores/win%

Beautiful coloured horses

I think you need to give examples because a lot of people don't know what that means.

What counts as "double" for you? There is no way to check for double silver or double brown; blacks though are always double for black as that is recessive.
I can offer you this mare - https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1205273 - she might be "double" brown, as both her parents are brown.

Just as a reminder, black is dominant to chestnut but hides behind agouti. Chestnut is the 'double'... whereas black can be single or double.

I was keeping in mind black as opposed to bay or brown (a/a) not black as opposed to chestnut (E/-). To avoid confusion between the two, I tend to call the latter "non-chestnut", but I know not everyone does this :)
Anyway, double non-chestnut is also not possible to check. The mare I offered, Grasa, has a chestnut grandsire, so chances she's E/e are present.

Ah, I got it!
Two different ways to say the same thing.

And I suddenly feel like you and I have been down this walk before. :| Maybe next time I'll remember it!
Or... perhaps not.
Sorry about that. :D
