Re: Yellow Breeders' Report
Gold first makes sense to me, I did actually assume that before I came and saw the comments on the forum. Whichever way I'm sure we will get used to once we know it

Re: Yellow Breeders' Report
I think blue would fit well with the current layout (blue menu icons etc.). I don't mind gold, though.
But I'd like to see a key on the bottom of the report that clarifies the order. Otherwise, it may be difficult for new members to understand if they haven't bred lots of horses and compared lots of comments.

Re: Yellow Breeders' Report
I would absolutely love if a completely different color could be used instead of 'gold' 'yellow' or whatever color it is suppose to be. I am color deficient. Meaning I have a very difficult time properly seeing shades or tints of colors or sometimes can not tell the difference between two colors with similar shading or tinting. So this new gold or green thing is completely awful for me. Every single time I breed a new foal if it does not have both green and yellow stats (so I can stare at my screen for several minutes comparing what to me looks like *slightly* different shades of the same color) I have to call my bf over and say "are these stats green or yellow"...... See how many horses I have? My bf would probably appreciate a color change too

Hi Frost, I hope this helps you for now:Frost wrote:I would absolutely love if a completely different color could be used instead of 'gold' 'yellow' or whatever color it is suppose to be. There's a nifty Chrome extension called Stylebot. It allows you to customise a website's CSS.
When you've installed it you get this on the top right:

You can just right-click on the item you want to style, for example a green in a horse's report. Sorry for the German.

Now this window opens. The items we're looking for are span.text-danger.bg-danger (reds), span.text-success.bg-success (greens) and span.text-warning.bg-warning (golds).

You can click on the square next to background colour to change it to a colour you can differentiate better. "Color" above changes font colour.

This is my end result. You can change the little labels on the bottom, too, but you have to set them separately from the report itself. What's awesome is that not just this single horse's report is modified - all of them are. So you can set new colours once and make all reports easier to read. It's easy to remove, too. You click on the little "CSS" in your browser I showed you on the first picture and choose "remove".

I'm sure there's something similar if you're using another browser.

Re: Yellow Breeders' Report
I'll be adding in a change fairly soon which will add a little icon (likely a star or something) to go with the gold, which will visually separate it from the green as well as convey that it's better than green, since green won't have a star.

Re: Yellow Breeders' Report
Gold is good.
Makes me think Gold=best, Silver=second best, Bronze=third, still OK. Maybe that's TMI?
