How to get my mare fat?
Does anyone know how I can get my mare fat? When the breeder sold me her the breeder said that she didn't think the horse would hold up for me. I have been doing everything to get her fat back and I have had no luck what so ever! I would love to help her build the extra fat she needs I don't want people thinking that I starve her to death (Because I don't starve her) If anyone can help me and get her body fat back that would be great! I really need your help so if you can help me please do I am willing to do everything and anything to save her!!!

This quote in the breeder's report does not mean your horse is starving. It means that your horse has a bad "strength" ability. This is not rare for Arabian, especially not ones from the Adoption Center (like yours is).Cowgirl-14 wrote:the breeder said that she didn't think the horse would hold up for me
Your horse is still thin, though (the little text on the left, next to "weight"). This is not necessarily bad. My horses are all very fat or very thin. It doesn't matter because I'm not showing them at the moment.
A horse that is normal weight performs better in shows. But for some shows, a slightly different weight is better. A horse that's a bit lighter than normal may run faster but may perform worse in Log Pull, for example.
You can change your horse's weight by feeding it more or less (this is a bit below the weight stats). Simplified, at 100%, a horse stays the weight it is. If it's fed more than that, it will gain weight.
