Fat Ponies
I think this is something that only effects me, but my ponies are always really fat and no matter what i do, other than putting them into barns, I can't seem to find a way to get them to loose weight.
My one thing that I can think of is mowing the pastures, but I have so many pastures and I can only mow 5 a day. The grass grows back so fast I can't keep on top of it. To get the ponies to almost loose weight the pastures have to be around 15%... which is really low. It actually means I could probably fit 76 ponies into one paddock and keep them all still fat or possibly with a good weight... at the moment the most I can fit is 12.
This is kinda annoying, and although it isn't that much of a problem, I still want my ponies to not be so fat in their photos
If anyone has ideas let me know.
And just for a little bit of proof(and I found this interesting and cool how the ponies size effects their weight and feed requirements on here): N4 Boston Point is an 8 year old mare.
Here is the info, copied and pasted:
Total Horses: 12 of 12
Grass Quality: 18.9%
124% Daily Energy
Weight: Very fat 33 lbs
Grazing ~124%
(Please note that this information was taken when the pony was in testing, it may be different from then. To check how long since then, see the ponies age compared to the age written here, on this post.)
