Foal 4 star Breeding for Limousin & have book but not Limousin?
I have been trying for Limousin for a while & finally got this colt with a 4 star rating for Limousin , i also have the Limousin Book in inventory, but for some reason it didnt come up as a Limousin? I always thought that if you meet the requirements & had 4 star rating it would instead of staying the Boulonnis x Anglo cross?
Could some1 clear this up for me?

Re: Foal 4 star Breeding for Limousin & have book but not Limousin?
According to the Breeds Wiki, a Limousin is the result of breeding an Anglo-Arabian to a Boulonnais (and getting the right stats as well). Sorry, your mare's heritage doesn't qualify: she's a West African Barb. (Or did you link to the wrong foal?)
The "recipes" in the Wiki must be followed exactly*. You cannot even substitute an (Arabian x North African Barb) for a Baladi, or vice-versa.
*Except that you can substitute a "Half --", "Part --", or "Mixed --" as long as no OTHER breed appears in the description.
As for the 4*, that in itself doesn't make a horse qualify for a breed -- just indicates it might be a good ancestor. I have a "Mixed Andalusian" mare who rates 5/5 for Lipizzan, and a "Mixed Baladi" stallion who rates 4/5 for Thoroughbred and American Saddlebred.
There isn't very much on the boards about Limousin; Knitting/Weaving produced the first one and announced it on April 2, 2016 (in "Farm Logs": "The Horses of Loomis Acres"). Here's the mare's profile page:
