Creating Breed?

When trying to create a new breed, does it matter which breed the sire vs. dam is? So if the creation is [XX Breed x YY Breed] would the positions of XX and YY tell you which breed the sire vs. dam have to be? Or is it as long as you cross two horses that fit the requirements to make the breed it doesn't matter?

Nope, that doesn't matter
Horse sense is the thing a horse has which keeps it from betting on people.
