Shortest horse?

Post by irishrose »

I have a tiny 19 inch stallion. I was just curious if anyone else had horses smaller than 20 inches?

I've seen horses down to 15-16 inches.

The smallest horse i currently own is a 21 inch mare :)

Kintara's horse, KT Chipmunk, could be the smallest.

Neon4 makes a specialty of breeding for small; the shortest mares on this farm are 16-17" (the stallions are taller):

Hey would you consider selling this mare? I've been trying to find something with Black, Cream or Appy thats under 23" for a while now, and I just came across this topic. I'm happy to buy her even if she's old when you sell her. It doesn't bother me.
I am also interested in this mare if you might also sell her?
Thanks! :)

I know! haha I couldn't believe that she's pure TB for 7 generations when I saw her, and I was checking her pedigree trying to find out how it was possible. :P

If anyone finds a heavy stallion with feathers that's super tiny, could you let me know? I'm hoping to start breeding Miniature Spotted Drafts (to cater to my RL wife's love of tiny horses while still sticking to my drafts tehehe)
No, but really.. anyone know of one I might be able to buy or at least breed to??
