So many colours. I don't even know...

Post by Helme98 »

I have trouble understanding these colours and I would like someone to lend a helping hand.

Medium Caretaker

Ghost of Me

Castoria's Outcast

I think this one is Mealy Chestnut or something:
Sweet Pie

Thank you for trying.

Hi Helme, I'll do the best I can! :)
These are all very young. You should wait until they're about 1 yr old to ask.

Still quite young. Perlino, will probably grey out later in life.

This is difficult for me, sorry. Possibly a Cremello Near Leopard? Let's wait a bit and see.

Gold Champagne Roan. The eyes will probably darken. If not, she also has Tiger Eye.

I find his spots very weird, the colours look inverted. I checked his parents and his mother shows the same thing, later the spots changed colour, she also looked very similar as foal -> so I think he will look like her when he ages.
Colourwise not sure, looking onto his mum, it looks too dark for Cremello, maybe Smoky Cream, the leopard varnish makes coat and mane lighter, so it's bit difficult. Maybe someone has an additional opinion ;)
Think we can say for sure that he is double cream and not champagne (no freckles).
