Build, Stats, and Competitions
Hello everyone!
I've searched for a more detailed answer to this question and couldn't find anything I quite understood, so I thought I'd bring yet another question to the general public.
From my searching, I have gathered that a horse's build will affect what types of competitions it will do well in and what stats will tend to have positive or negative comments. However, I'm not able to figure out anything more detail than that. I'd like to know what types there are and, if a horse has a certain type, what might they be good at? I found this chart thing posted on one forum that had a variety of builds next to the picture of the horse and what competition it would be good for, but the build types weren't labeled and I wasn't sure how to interpret it.
Thanks to anyone who offers help

Are these the charts you found?

If it is those, you just compare them to the build of your horses. I have found that my horses are best at Saddleseat and match the type pretty well, but they also do good in other English competition types (Dressage and Showjumping specifically). It's important to note that ones listed in the charts are examples, and that horses built slightly different could be just as talented, but it gives you an estimate of the build type you want to go for :)

Yes, indeed those are the ones I found.
The reason I am invested in finding this out is because I am thinking of creating my own new breed on this game, eventually, and I am trying to figure out what build type I would want to look for if I wanted to breed horses that had tendencies towards certain stats and competitions. It would be much easier for me to have their names in order to figure out what types of horses to look to combine on the game.

It would definitely be easier, but it takes away some of the challenge as well ;)ToiletWater13 wrote:Yes, indeed those are the ones I found.

Since all breeds have AC horses somewhere in their ancestry, you could look those breeds up where it specifically says what stats tend to be better and what are worse. But then again, I'm not the best to answer this. I sort of went the other way around - chose a breed, bred it and then figured out what they were good at :)
Best of luck

The attribute information listed on the adoption page is based on genetic predisposition, not conformation.
